Hi there

My wife and I share a laptop in the livingroom. She uses it for solitaire, browsing etc. and I use it as an entertainment solution, attaching it to the TV using HDMI.

So we both have a user but even so, I have to change sound output between HDMI and the internal speakers and also to change what happens when the lid is closed.

Is it not possible to assign such setting to a user account, so we don't have to change between then all the time?

Regards,

Those settings you are referring to are global system settings. Doesn't setting HDMI as the default sound output then disconnecting HDMI return sound to the internal speakers?
