Alright,i know this things already posted and i've face this problem and solved it. just want to share with other users.

i get office 10 from my friends, ive installed it works fine but one day it's corrupt. i cant use it at all. So i tried to uninstall it which ended up with "windows encounter an error while uninstalling office 10 bla2". So i try the hardcore /stupid way by deleting the installation folder itself on C : prog files using Unlocker. I check on add/remove and it still there. i try to uninstall it and i get this error " you installation language does not support this version". Alright then i google and search for a solution which results in

thread in this forum = FAILED
Microsoft Support = FAILED
using setup.xml = FAILED
Windows Installer Cleanup Utility = FAILED

finally i came accros manual fix using regedit on
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Uninstall

it consist of several key consist of alphabet and numbers, i just scroll down until i found the one that i want to delete which is Office 2010.

look again on add, remove list and its gone and i can install new office again.YAY!!

THIS ALSO WORK WITH ANY OTHER PROGRAMS WHICH CANT BE UNINSTALL COMPLETELY OR REMAIN ON ADD/REMOVE LIST

CAUTION: i just sharing the info, don't do it if you unsure about it but so far it works on mine. Im not responsible for anything happens ,with all due respect.:)

Office beta 2010

Kucing- thanks! I had office 2010 beta, and after 31 October, of course, no more.
I have XP professional, and an old Office 2000 professional, for my uses, sufficient.
On trying to remove the beta, ther was no mention of it in the control panel, nor could find it in the programs directory.
It did appear in Start/all programs, but the bug was that all office programs behaved erratically, and could not even use the FIND for anything- the beta kept appearing, claiming no longer active.
After searching the internet, your idea of deleting office14 from the Registry came up- it was the simplest- and IT WORKED!
I made a full copy of the registry beforehand, just in case.
Thanks again
