I don't even want to know the temps of that thing... or how long it'd take to pay off that loan for a $6493 laptop! I'm fairly sure this is one of the most powerful laptops ever made.....:shock:

What would anyone do with almost a TB of SSD space, 12 GB of RAM, and a 3.46 GHz hexacore laptop?!

Funny thing is... I thought that the i7 740 QM would overheat in a really thin laptop... I couldn't have been more wrong. Even when my mobile i7 turbos all 4 cores to 2.93 GHz, the laptop seems to remain cool and quiet. This is what I really love about technology. You really never know what is going to happen next. I mean, look at iBP's new AMD A8 system. A 32 nm quad core desktop for $430...

Just not very portable.

I would use it for Audio + Video editing, hardcore gaming with everything on max, whilst running some other programs in the background like a good video editor. Plenty to do with that, some coolers underneath.
