Hi,

Around 2 weeks ago, i installed Windows 7, to see if it would help with various powermanagement issues, compared to Vista, but seems the same.

But for the last week or so, i have had a problem with Mediacenter - It simply crashes when i try to start the gui. MCE scheduled updates are working as expected, and i get no info in eventlog about the crash what so ever.

I was considering to empty the ehome folder (as worked under Vista), but i am unsure of which services to stop, to be able to do it.

What else would be the way to troubleshoot here? Resetting the mce configuration completely? And if so - how do i do that?

Brgds,
Thomas

I'm assuming you've tried System Restore to a point before this issue started?
