This is great, I have been using Plex which is a pain to set up and keep running. They have an iOS client for this, but it is for iOS 7 only.

How long does it take to populate your library? Seems like it took Plex days to populate everything.

Yes only ios 7 as it uses HTML 5 as far how long it takes that depends on your Wifi
i have 24 TB library and it did not take that long at all as soon i got the app from app store for FREE
IT just worked and when i setup DDNS and used at work it just worked no error or issue

For older devices and IOS 6 or less you can use the web client which is cool too i saved web client URL into my Phone and i was able to use it to watch thing i like or to use remote switch that is built in to the web client to see anything i like on my tv that is connected to a pc as HTPC
