Solved Menu bar graphical glitch? Or just weird setting?

This is my problem. The menu bar appears as it does above, the help button shown here is how it appears on mouse over. A weird aqua highlighting and then underlined/sicken through on mouse over.

What did I do wrong? How do I return it to its default? :shock:
(yes, I have tried googling)

Welcome to Seven Forums JoBrittain. Have you recently made some changes of customizations just before this began? If so a System Restore point from before this began might be easiest. If you are not aware of making any changes, suggest you run the System File Checker and see if it can correct any errors.

I found out that the issue was caused after running and alt-tabbing out of Mass Effect 3. I'm guessing that the font styles in game conflict with the Windows 7 GUI in some way...

The problem is solved after on restart.
