Microsoft should sponsor PC clunkers for cash program

...your assumptions and bashing of what you didn't believe in....

...not at dealerships of course, they will always rip you off, ALWAYS).
Self negating in it's entirety, but I think I know what you are trying to say. I am a licensed automobile dealer in two states. While I have made a significant profit on some deals, I do not rip off anybody. Dollar for dollar, I make a much larger margin on custom built computers.

lol The cars.gov thread was closed because of your assumptions and bashing of what you didn't believe in. And you hinted at how u love fox news political talking points :sarc:

So, because I don't agree with you and because I don't watch Fox News, that automatically makes me a liberal?
Some people really shouldn't voice their opinions when they state fantasies as facts. Or even twisting fiction to make it a fact.
Really sad

1: the previous thread got locked because a newbie highjacked it and started up garbage

2: I'm not pointing fingers at ANYONE! The MAJORITY of liberals bring up the "Hate FOX News/FOX ANYTHING To Be Cool on the Block" argument.

I like the idea but microsoft can only do that to their software or hardware, manufacturing companies should have programs that you trade your old computer and they give your money off your new ones. microsoft can do it with older software like windows 95 and 98 trade them and you get 50 dollars off windows xp vista or even 7.

Good idea of Microsoft giving some sort of rebate for older software but if it is not pat of an overall equipment exchange/upgrade then the new software is basically useless on all the thousands of PCs still running win95 or WinME etc.
Both the PC manufactures and Microsoft would of course have to work together on something like this. The key is convincing the average Joe to upgrade...period.

Something like a rebate system for electronics would be ideal but not for automobiles. But I do like the idea of PC companies offering discounts for every PC traded in towards a new PC to keep these stuff outta junkyards and maybe help reduce cost of future hardware products, since the material in older computers are being recycled. That'll help lots of businesses.
