Minecraft sword textures glitched in 1.8

I am having issues getting my texture pack to work in 1.8, it's usable but still a bit annoying. Thanks in advance for any help.

Is it like that without a resource pack? And what is the resource pack's name?

It only happens with certain swords bigger than 16x16.

Do you have OptiFine installed, and what are your specs?

Pretty sure you can see my specs under my name, but if not:
OS- Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit
CPU- Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 @ 2.5Ghz
Graphics Card- EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti SC
Hard Drives- Seagate SSHD 2TB Adata SSD 250GB
Antivirus- Microsoft Security Essentials
Browser- Chrome 64Bit

And I do have optifine, but it happens in vanilla too.

Have you checked to see if there is an official 1.8 release of the resource pack/an up dated version? Also, could you link the download so I can test it too? Thanks.
