Monitor goes into standy when using BSPlayer?

Whenever I watch a video using BSPlayer my monitor goes into standby. Other than disabling standby does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix this issue?

XP never did this but for some reason W7 has this issue.

you say another way to fix this than disabling standby?

Here I have a compromise, hope you'll like it: it's a nice freeware called "standby preventer", installs in tray and now it takes 1 second to enable/disable standby (it disables screen saver as well).
