hi
there is an application that communicates with remote server. it connects to the server and the user selects the records/files (txt or tif files) it then starts downloading them.

the issue with it is that this application works from home or non company internet. but it doesnt works on company network.

i want to investigate whats stoping it.

it can successfully login to the server and shows the files needed to be downloaded. and it sometimes does starts downloading . but it fails midway through files.

we are behind a tmg.

and tmg client is working but no success with it.

so i want some application to be installed on that particular pc on which the application is not working .(again it works if non company internet is used). that should just monitor the packets sent and received by that application..

wireshark is too complicated.. and displays all packets flying by.

how can i corelate the packets shown in wire shark to that specific program ?

any other alternative ?

or how to tackle the issue with this particular app? that is what i want to solve.

update:
that application uses http to download data .

Start with Process Monitor. It will not show you the packets, but it might provide a clue.
