Solved Most icons disappeared, after changing a program's icon

Hello,

I wanted to change a program's icon, so I downloaded an application called IconChanger. This actually did the job perfectly and changed the program's icon. After I restarted my PC(I actually had to quit it by holding the power button, for a different reason), Most of my icons have been removed(?). And not only the desktop items, but also the icons in the maps of the program's themselves.

Does anyone know how this happened? Or more importantly, how do I fix it?

If you can you could try a system restore to a point before you used that program http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html

You may need to also http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/49819-icon-cache-rebuild.html first to see if this will help.
or
Do Option 2 of this tutorial http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html it will not harm any data or programs you have installed it will try to find and repair any corrupt system files that you have. Then rebuild the icon cache afterwards.
