I've been receiving much help over on the Network & Sharing forum regarding the failure of my newly installed Win7 Pro Internet Explorer 8 from connecting with the internet. I was advised to run the DM Collector and post here. I think this was advised when my primary problem connecting to internet service at all / to my router. But I installed a couple of network drivers, and I'm connected now. So it seemed, until I opened IE8 and it failed to connect/access the web. I've spent a long time trying to fix this, lots of YouTube video advice that failed to work. I have a working physical connection to my working router but can't access the web. Here's the .zip file:
