Hey all, I have the exact same problem.
Basically the computer says "hey if you make me do too much then I'm going to shut down on you. Plain and simple."
I have had this computer for a little under a year and its been really annoying but I just lived with it.
Gaming can only be done as long as its on the lowest power or graphics settings and even then it only lasts a few hours (mostly on battery).
Then if I have maybe 3-4+ browsers or tabs open it will cause the same effect. Some days the charger doesn't even want to work and I end up just loosing power anyways.
Personally I have turned this into a good thing most the time, I do homework a lot on the computer, but somehow that get boring and I start gaming. The computer lasts 2 hours and then it shuts off, then I get back to my home work.
There is always a silver lining.
I have a secondary gaming laptop anyways but I mean even running a Facebook game or a quick ARAM in LOL will make the charger shut down.
ONE QUICK NOTE PLEASE!!!
The problem for these computer does not exist in the batteries I believe, I think its more to do with the chargers. Though after reading someone bought a new charger and then had the same problems again I am not going out to buy a new one. the battery could have too high or a resistance so it stops charging or the charger could be slowing the flow of electricity too much. either way, some days the laptop works fine (which is how I've just lived with it).
One thing is for sure, Please don't just go poking around in your laptop or charger, you will screw everything up.
Whelp that's it for my rant of the day. Have a good one all!
