Download BIOS 212 from ASUS - Notebooks- ASUS M60J and update it using the ASUS Live Update Utility. You can find the ASUS Live Update Utility in the Utilities section on that same download page.

Sorry for the crazy-late update regarding this problem. The problem actually consisted of 3 separate issues:

1. The old BIOS had a bug, which made the fan work too slow, thus overheating the laptop
2. My ASYS M60J version had 2 hard-drives, making the overheating even more intense (One HDD inevitably broke from the long period of heating problems)
3. The newer driver updates for the NVIDIA® GeForce® GT240M , with 1GB VRAM resulted in the laptop freezing, when being pushed. To this day i am still required to use the old driver version for this not to happen!

So, now after 437 PC formats, many hours spend troubleshooting the BIOS and GFX driver, my laptop works. Granted only with one of my 2 initial HDD and a driver as old as my parents first car, but it works :-)
