NAS access help..

I have a network HDD, (NAS.) I cannot access it through the usual network icon. Instead I get error 1208 code. I can map folders on the drive and access without issue, but this is just a work around. Please help!

I have network discovery on, I have no password on the NAS, I have tried allsorts, searching the web others having the same issue. It works with Vista and Ubuntu.
