Solved need autoruns guru advice on this startup entry in Autoruns.arn

Not sure that the attached entry in the jpg file is for....don't think I have seen this on any machines here at home ?

Should I uncheck it and/or remove it from autoruns.arn file ?

I don't have that one on any of my PCs--it's probably safe to just delete it since it appears broken anyway.

Can I just say, in the nicest way I can think to do it, that maybe that item is the least of your worries? You do have an awful lot of junk, er, I mean, stuff on your PC that you've turned-off in Autoruns. I would want to Un-install any of those you don't use or need e.g. Ask.com, roxio, spigot, whatever.

If there is program residue here, then it likely is elsewhere on your hdd as well.

I have that one and another disabled for months with no problems. One day I will get around to deleting it.

Getting More Information about an Entry

There are several ways to get more information about an autorun location or entry. To view a location or entry in Explorer or Regedit chose Jump To in the Entry menu or double-click on the entry or location's line in the display. You can view Explorer's file properties dialog for an entry's image file by choosing Properties in the Entry menu. You can also have Autoruns automatically execute an Internet search in your browser by selecting Search Online in the Entry menu.
