I have several player devices including a few iTouch and iPod units and
I NEED:
I NEED:
- To be able to sync my music and more importantly my podcasts and
- To be able to control the sort order, especially because these podcasts are training materials.
- To use Windows Media Player because I'd like my Microsoft machine to stay Microsoft, but it does not recognize my iTouch and
- To avoid iTunes which has known bugs in the sort order (See the apple forums) which prevent me from listening to podcasts in order without manually searching through the list (of many podcasts) for the next episode. It is also a slow PIA freezy piece of crap user experience (IMHO).
- Be willing to use some third party application because I know that Microsoft and Apple hate each other so much that I struggle not to hate them back for all the hate they spread.
- Tried a few third party alternatives, but not found one were I am able to control the download sort order so that I can play these training material podcasts in order.
- Tried to get Windows Media Player to recognie the iTouch device, but I have not figured out how, even though WMP sees all my other eclectic collection of media devices.
- Suggestions? Thanks in advance.
