Network Adapter Driver Anomaly

Hi-

Just within the last week I've been having issues with with Windows 7 on start up.

There seems to be a problem with the Network Adapter driver and it takes for ever

to start, and sometimes will only function when I run it through Troubleshooting and

apply fix, whatever that is. And I get this pop up that Adobe Flash Player needs updating.

Took a look in Event Viewer... getting an Event ID 10 warning in Windows Logs> Application

and Event ID 7024 in System.

I've tried uninstalling driver and software, installing driver again from HP site and Realtek

site for the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. I use ethernet connection and have Wi-Fi

and Bluetooth shut off.

I've included some screen shots... this is driving me crazy and I'm hoping someone can help.

Of note, HP Drivers and Software site is now offering 2 Realtek NIC driver packages. I have

latest revision installed.

my input: Z97 is 5 years old, motherboard hardware goes bad eventually, if this $7 solves your issue you know your adapter was the problem.
