I had a new rig assembled and given to me within the last 5 days and I've noticed an alarming disappearance of SSD space per day. Did a quick Spacesniff and Treesize and this what I've discovered. Any advice on what's going on? Its been 5 days and I already noticed 40GBs of space vanish on my SSD

Here is a tutorial by Brink that has a lot of information that will be helpful.
You probably won't need to use all the items but take a good read of the complete tutorial.

Seldom will you need tutorial from any place but this forum. I would suggest checking there first. Tutorials are at the top of ever page on this forum.

No ssd should be defragged.

I do not turn off restore point. I do control the size of the total volume of the restore points set at 5%.
