New Lenovo X230 Laptop! Help trim default windows install down please.

windows update is up to date, no more updates found. installed all of the drivers I thought I needed from the lenovo website but there are still two devices that do not have drivers. the unknown device I presumed was the card reader but I installed that driver and restarted. not sure what the other one is either, any ideas?

edit: I fixed the SM Bus controller - it needed the chipset drivers. still dont know what the unknown device is.

The way I find Unknowns is to look down the Lenovo Downloads list for your model to see if anything might be missing like a cam, fingerprint, card, etc device requiring driver.

If it's not obvious, solved by installing a missing driver, then trace the device with Hardware Identification

i installed the card reader and camera drivers. its still undetected. i guess ill try the hardware identification.

google searched the hardware ID and it ended up being the power management driver, installed and rebooted... no more unknown device!

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to gregrocker again.
