New video card is causing BSOD constantly

I have this new video card:

MSI R7 260X 2GD5 OCV1 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card - Newegg.com

And it's been CONSTANTLY crashing & BSOD my computer.

I had the stable driver downloaded at first & it was making my monitors flicker & would get smeared & stuck that way so I downloaded the newest beta version & have been getting the BSOD.

So it seems either way this is crashing my computer.

And when it does work things like youtube seem to have lag.

Any ideas or options on how to fix this.

Beyond frustrating.

All of your dumps are either 0x116 (VIDEO_TDR_ERROR) or 0xA0000001 (A custom bugcheck coded into ATI drivers). The 0x116 could be down to a bad GPU, or overheating, but with the 0xA0000001 showing up it will be worth trying different drivers first.

Download the 13.9 driver from here then use AMD Uninstall Utility to remove all traces of your current driver, CCC etc. Reboot and install the 13.9 driver.

   Note

When installing choose 'Advanced' or 'Custom' (whichever option is available, just not Express) and uncheck everything except the video driver.

Test with those drivers for a few days and see how things go. If you get BSODs in the meantime post the logs up straight away and we'll look at testing the card itself.

So I finally got around to trying this.

I successfully uninstalled all AMD software via the Uninstall program, rebooted & installed the 13.9 file you gave the link for. It seemed to install properly but the changes didn't seem to take effect. I tried Custom & Express & both options didn't seem to take effect on things.

Under Screen Resolution the computer is not recognizing all 3 monitors any more & mirroring 2 of them for some reason.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? I already tried a reboot & it didn't fix it.

Should I uninstall the Express I just did & go back to Custom & uncheck the boxes? I think there was only 1 or 2 but they sounded beneficial...
