New Win7x64 install, 6g ram but only 2g showing

Core i7 920 on Asus P6T Deluxe V2 with latest BIOS.
New Windows 7 x64 Ultimate install with all updates.
6 gigs of Corsair Dominator ram installed (2g X 3) but only 2 gigs showing up everywhere. (system information, msconfig, BIOS, etc.)
Any thoughts?

there is a max mem setting in bios on some systems. use msconfig to check.

there is a max mem setting in bios on some systems. use msconfig to check.

Did that, and the max setting is 2048, the amount the OS thinks is installed.

Update

OK, shut down, rotated and reseated RAM, now I've got 4 gigs showing! Some progress at least.
Beginning to think it's probably not a Windows issue.
