I'm trying to set up a Hauppauge Win-DCR-2650 and keep getting failure message. WMC says i need to update my video card to one that supports hardware acceleration. (this PC has a chipset) I've updated the drivers for the chipset.
I know this is an older PC but i've been told i should be able to run the 2650 on it...

Here are the desktop specs
eMachines EL1358G-51w

  • Athlon II X2 220 (2.80GHz)
  • 3GB DDR3 1TB HDD

I've used the windows media center which is what is on that page...

is there another test somewhere else?

This is in the troubleshooting data.
I was wondering if this might have something to do with it?

Is there a possibility that something is blocking my graphic adapter from working properly... I/O bit or anything that might affect the graphics
