This is a Toshiba Satellite M60 laptop OS XP Pro 32bit. This laptop is my backup. My primary laptop is a Dell Inspiron 3541 OS Win7 Home 32bit. The Dell is getting cleaned up and disinfected. One of my cats pissed on it when it was turned off. The Dell still works.
This Toshiba laptop was working fine, I am typing on it now, except for the prog called Roxio's Easy Creater 10. The prog doesn't like the generic graphics video driver that XP Pro installed. Easy Creater 10 is the only prog that I have that will burn dvd's that will play in a stand alone dvd player. I tried every graphics driver that Toshiba has for this laptop and none of them will install. And Toshiba doesn't regnize the s/n number.
Now movies that I burned on the Dell laptop won't play right in the Toshiba laptop. See the attachments. The sound on the movies is fine but the video is lagging and screwed up. The same movie plays just fine, both video and sound, in my dvd/vhs combo player. It has to be something in the graphics driver. The graphics works fine to type this post. Firefox is a bit slow at changing pages but still works. I already took the laptop apart and used a can of air spray to blow all the dust out of the laptop. It helped some as far as making the laptop as a whole speed up. But the graphics driver problem is still there.
