Nvidia Ge Force 7000m

I'm using Aspire 4520 and need help to for my Nvidia GeForce 7000m driver.I just cannot determine what driver for mine.My driver version is 179.67.I'll try to check update in Nvidia website,but it tells me about my gpu frm manufacturer.can some1 try to fix my problem here.Tanx!

Yeah, I can fix it no problem for you.

Right click on the standard vga in device manager. Properties. Details tab. Change dropdown to hardware ids. Copy and paste results to here. No screenshot as alternative, please.

I'll make a custom .inf for you and tell you what to do to install.

In the meantime, download latest NVIDIA driver package from their site for any desktop card, like an 8800, doesn't matter.

Extract to C:\NVIDIA and await further instructions and my edited .inf.

Also, are you running x86 or x64 Windows?

Here ya go. Follow my instructions at this link and use this post's attached .inf instead of editing yourself. You can skip the editing steps and just copy and past this over the one inside NVIDIA folder after you extract the downloaded file from their site.

I do have the similar problem.. I have installed win7 ultimate on my laptop.
graphic card for my laptop is nvidia ge force 7000m/ nvidia 610(512 Mb).
I downloaded the drives from the nvidia(195.62) web site.
When I tried to install the drivers it showed, no compatible hardware found.
I followed all u r stated steps it doesn't helped.
by the way I'm using 64-bit OS. Please help me.

Laptop specs:

Os : 64-bit win7 ultimate
RAM : 2.5GB
NVIDIA GEFORCE 7000M / nFORCE 610

ive got a simlar drama, acers support for windows 7 is pretty poor... im struggling with a 64bit chipset driver.

I solved the problem ...
Just go to u r device manager and expand display drivers... update it .
This should solve u r problem...
or give me the the details of error i will try to solve it.

hey no stress, i got it sorted okay. windows update = teh useless scum.... 32bit the drivers i never even had to install one, 64bit somehow the drivers database is lacking.

i installed 64bit vista driver in compatibility mode and all is well.... now to stop the bluescreens

I've got same problem with my graphic card "NVIDIA GEFORCE 7000M / nFORCE 610". Windows 7 driver isn't good, downloaded from nvidia.com. Have someone solve this problem?
