nVIDIA Geforce 9600m gt not recognised.

Hi,
I recently installed Windows 7 ultimate build 7100 on hp dv% 1060ee laptop. Everything seems to be working fine apart from my nVIDIA Geforce 9600m GT graphics card which isnt even recognized by windows.
The graphics were working fine till the time I was using Vista.

I have searched the thread around but couldn't find a solution, also would like to mention I'm a kinda noob at computers :|

You are on 32bit ?

Um.. Assuming you are, you need to download these drivers for your card

http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook_winvista_win7_186.81_whql.html

if you are on 64bit..

http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook_winvista_win7_x64_186.81_whql.html

Yes, I am using 32Bit.
Thankyou, I was finally able to solve the problem, 7 feels so different now

Funny, earlier I downloaded the driver for 9600m GT from another source and it didn't seem to work, weird.
