M$ Office 2007 and older M$ Office versions are all 32-bit applications although the Office SharePoint Server 2007 Enterprise and Office Forms Server 2007 are available in 64-bit versions.
If you're concerned with compatibility, M$ Office works perfectly both on Windows 7 x86 and x64 builds.

It does seem odd that they havent released a 64-bit version of office. Maybe they might for Office 14.
