I have been using One Note for a number of years and have accumulated a number of notebooks. My continuous worry is backing up my notebooks and, in the event of having to replace my computer, restoring them to a new machine. Right now I am copying my Backup Folder (File>Options>Save and Backup) to an external hard drive and hoping that I can restore them from there should I buy a new computer.
Is this the correct and safe way of doing it or am I missing something? Thanks in advance for any peace of mind anyone can offer.
