Opera & Adobe flash clash

Hi people.

Whenever I open a site that needs 'adobe-flash' I am told to install it.

So I do.

However when I open another 'adobe-flash-needed' site later on or return to the earlier site the process repeats. 'U need flash to view page - plz install'.

What's up?

Hi Aalf,

dont use Opera, but in Palemoon, there are plug-in option settings
IS it install or Activate???
Add-ons >> Plug-ins... choice
-Never
-Ask
-allways activate

note
you will have a Flash Player Icon on your control Panel, if its installed.

I use Opera, so click on the Menu & then select Setting, then Websites, scroll down & you will see JavaScript & just below that is Flash, make sure the first option is selected which says "Ask first before allowing sites to run Flash (recommended)"

Check that you also have the right version of Flash installed on your computer for Opera, which is Adobe Flash Player 28 PPAPI, version 28.0.0.126, which is the latest version as far as I know.
