Wondering if someone can help me. I had BSOD problems with this PC over a year ago which ARC was able to fix. About a couple of months ago the OS would 'freeze' and then the PC would reboot itself. Sometimes that occured after the system had been idle for over half an hour. However it also occurred while browsing and also while writing emails.

I have checked sfc /scannow - no reported problems
Have run CCleaner's latest version

I have not changed any hardware or loaded any new programs. Therefore I assume that an update must be causing the issue. Can anyone assist me please?

If you feel an update caused the issue, you could revert back to a restore point prior to this issue happening. Remember to back up anything you created like docs, pictures, etc.. since the restore point.

If you do this make sure you set updates to not automatically install. Then if you problem goes away after restore point, you can either install updates one by one until you reproduce the issue or you could install them in small groups. Over a 2 month period, I would go with one by one.
