Hi, I have copied some files & folders from an old HDD to a USB pen drive, where they are currently stored. I want to permanently delete the files, for security reasons, as they were synched to the hard drive from Google Drive.
What I am unsure of is; if I delete the files directly off the USB drive, using a file shredder program, will the files still be recoverable from the old HDD. Or will the best solution be to copy all the folders & files back onto the original HDD and delete them using a file shredder from there.
Thanks for any help on this.
