Phantom Emails

In my zest to organise and simply the folder structure I deleted some inner folders and copied my main inbox to the root. In the bargain I have got a lot of (same amt as much as the orignal emails in each folder) phantom emails, which give a error message Message cannot be found. How does one delete these messages ? One by one deletion is not practical as there are thousands, can anyone please advice a simpler way. Thanks

Can someone please advice me on how best to maintain folder structure in WLM. I have four email accounts and imported emails from OE which rest in several folders. Should I copy the folders to the relevant accounts or leave them in the imported storage folder. I want to keep folder sturcture as simple and functional as possible. The imported folders have too many deep layers before finally reaching the actual Inbox.

As for the phantom emails, you could delete all messages and re-import them. (Use shift-right-click to select/delete a group at a time.) As for organizing stuff, you can move everything out of the imported folder and put them anywhere in the WLM window by dragging a dropping a group of messages. You can even add more sub-folders in the accounts and in the Storage folders if that helps the organization.

Hi Roncerr. Select all and delete does not work, I have to do one mail at a time. The imported folder has so many nested folders inside, I tried moving them out but this has messed up the storage folder as there I have Imported Folders, Inbox, Inbox 1 etc. Am thinking of making a new directory and manually making folders and importing messages directly into them. Lets see. Thanks for your help.
