please help, i'd really like to be able to play sims2 university.

can someone please help me? a few weeks ago, i bought a legit copy of sims2 university. the installation seemed to be ok, but when i try to load and play, all i get is a blue screen.

i have downloaded the latest directx drivers, and searched online for a patch, which is what i needed for the sims2 base game, but i still can't play.

please help, $30 is a lot on my budget, for a game i can't play.

What error codes are you getting with the blue screen?

ok i have filled in what info i can with regards to my computer, i am not an expert, just an average user, so some info i don't know.

when i attempt to load the game, it appears to be loading, (noises from drive etc) it then comes up with a blank blue screen, no error messages. this is as far as it goes, and then freezes.
