Please help me, witch RAM is the best foe gaming

No such thing per se...I use Team Xtreme DDR2 without any problems. Previous rig I used OCZ platinum..Rig I am in the process or bolting together is/will be using Gskill triple channel

Stay away from generic rubbish and you should be fine

Sounds like what I had in mind "generic rubbish"

I've had the best luck using GSkill and have recommended it many times with great success. Corsair has it's share of problems, OCZ by far the worst and is very picky about the settings, Patriot would be my second choice for gaming with GSkill number one.

Is there anyway you could buy it for me and ship it to me and then I wire the money in to your account or something coz i have never heard of such a brand in South Africa?

I doubt that will happen ;)

Honestly, any RAM will do, as long as it works. All brands have duds.

It's not like it's going to give you a massive performance increase in games anyway.

Core7, I have 2 suggestion:

1. Economically: Go to your motherboard's manufacturer, have a read on it's memory compatibility list, pick one you like, especially the cheaper ones (that is listed on that compatibility list). The amount is up to you, I see that you're using 32bit RC, so don't go higher than 3GB unless you want to upgrade to 64 later...

2. Performance Oriented: Go with well named manufacturer that's listed in the compatibility list, especially the ones that have LOWER TIMINGS. Unless you overclock, I see no sense of buying these throat slitting priced memory kits. Even if you do have the money, the overall system performance difference/increase in a game is well below 5%.

To increase overall system performance significantly, put more memory. To have more pride, buy those throat slitting priced - low timing - head spreader bling bling-ed - memory kits.

Here is something. My dads old pc still has DDR ram made by Bravo. I have never even heard of this brand, but it ran good. Still, Corsair, Gskill, OCZ, PNY. Best brands of ram.
