This problem has me baffled. Print Spooler is set to Automatic. When I turn PC on the Print Spooler has not started - although it always says its on Automatic. The only way I can then print is to manually restart the spooler. I have checked depenancies / rebooted / checked via services.msc that it is still on Auto. Do not get any warning messages just no printers listed ( until I manually turn on the Print Spooler ).Have removed all printers and drivers / Reinstalled them but still Print Spooler does not come on.
Also have noticed (may not be linked? )but Windows Updates are not happening and they were set to Auto as well. Any help appreciated, I have spent days on this, without any success.

Are your printers set to use a spooler in most cases its not used it was in the old days a buffer but with modern pcs they have enough power to not need it
