When try to install a software, it can be installed, it says MS Net Framework 4.0 is the minimum requirment as the existing is not MS Net Framework 4.0.

So I download the MS Net Framework 4.0 from below link:

Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) from Official Microsoft Download Center

Then I install it.

After installation is completed, it says it should restart now to make a change.

Then I restart my PC.

The problem is, my screen resolution is changed after installing the MS Net Framework 4.0 and looks distort horizontaly.

I tried to fix it by adjust the screen resolution via desktop.

However, it still distort horizontaly.

How to get my display back to normal?

Have you tried all Screen Resolutions at Control Panel>Display?

Try updating the Display driver which may have changed somehow.

First enable Enable hardware auto-updating via Windows Update (Steps 3 and 6)
to Check For Updates, install all Important and Optional which may have a newer driver plus patches needed to make the display and/or Windows work better. So install all of those, with reboots, and keep going back to Check for Updates until there are no more offered.

If this doesn't do it then import the latest Display driver from the PC's or device's Support Downloads webpage.

If those fail then try rolling back in Device Manager to previous Display driver.
