Hi,
I have always used the Panasonic SD 4.0 card formatter for my cameras card. Today while doing a quick format it froze 50% and will do no further. I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled the program and same issue. Also checked the card for any issues and none.

It will format with the win 7 formatter and also same using the same SD 4.0 software pn my other Win7 pc and it works properly.

When I mean froze its only the Sd formatter that froze. The error that I have found is listed below.

TIA,
JJR

Ended up going into safe mode and doing a system restore. That solved the issue hope it does not happen again as it was a PITA.
