Problem with all the games..

So, I got a problem.

My Win 7 screen resulotion is 1440x1220

So, when I play Counter Strike (For example) with 800x600 resolution it will look something like in this picture:

The black painted area is where no text or game is but there should be the game

1440x1220? That a typo or some kind of monitor that runs a a really weird resolution?

Also are all drivers installed and updated, primarily the video card driver?

Oops oops, sorry, it's 1440x900, And yes, all the drivers are installed.

If that is the original Counter Strike that is normal. It was programmed for 4:3 screen and you have a 16:9 screen.
