I'm not sure if this is a Windows 7 problem but I didn't find anyone else that encountered the same thing on another OS.
I have build 7100 installed and when trying to open GHWT apparently nothing happens. I checked in Task Manager and turns out the process is active in the memory, using up proc cycles. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

*bump*

Upgraded to build 7600, same thing happens.
I'm thinking it's the x64 that's causing this but I read that people are doing fine on Vista even if the box says that x64 is not supported. And if that were the case why does the damn thing start running in my RAM?

Have you tried running it in compatibility mode?

'course, first thing I did. Same thing happens under every compatibility mode setting.

I also updated dx and my display drivers. I should try running it in safe mode. Will post what happens. Hopefully something.

EDIT:

Wow, I got a dialog window! Game does not support my vid card. I play on a laptop so this crap happened before with Dead Space. I hate this "Let's check the system because we know better and don't even start the program if something is a bit different". Tossers!
