My friend has a HP Laptop, and is partial to a game of Freecell. (On win 7 OS)
She advises that all goes well for approx 25 minutes, then the cards seem to scatter or move around the screen on their own accord.
She lives approx 55 miles away so I have no access to her machine. She uses a cordless mouse rather than the laptops pad.
Is it possible that her 'addon' mouse may be the cause of the problem?
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
She has just mailed to report that an alternative 'freecell' program operates without any problem whatsoever.(This cancels the mouse theory). She would however like to use the microsoft app in preference to the freebie alternative.
Your ideas welcomed.
I just added a wireless mouse (Logitech M185) to my mother's HP laptop and had no problem with it so far. I left the pad active so both work. The mouse has an on/off switch so it can be used at any time. I also let Windows load it's drivers for it as I didn't want to add any extra software. Other than adjusting the speed, I made no other changes.
I did notice one problem if you get lazy with a hand and touch the pad. It can cause unexpected results on the screen but that could happen at any time, not just with the added mouse.
By the way, Mom is 87 and does quite well with a PC. She uses it to social network.
