Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum and I have been searching for two days a solution before posting here.

The scenario that I have is:

I have a DSL internet connection in Brazil and I would like to access some geographic restricted content, so I have signed for the StrongVPN service. VPN works perfectly. But my intention is to share the VPN to other devices (iPhone and WDTV to access Pandora and Hulu). I have a regular DSL modem and a D-Link DIR-615 wireless router. I have not been able to make my D-Link access the VPN and then share it to my home, so my idea was to connect my PC directly to the modem, through a PPPoE connection and then share the connection to my home using the router.

I have already disabled DHCP on the router and changed the IP to the ICS range (I set up 192.168.137.2 to the router).

I have been able to setup the sharing and all devices (like the WDTV) are capturing the correct IP range (192.168.137.xxx) and gateway (192.168.137.1). File sharing is perfect.

BUT internet sharing is not working. I have disabled firewall and uninstalled my antivirus trying to find a solution, without success...

I have also tried to install a proxy server (CCProxy) to evaluate if the network was ok and it worked using proxy, but it is really annoying to use proxy... so I'm still trying to make it works.

Anyone have an idea on something that I have missed?

Thank you guys!

Sorry for the late reply....

You need to shop for a Router that is able to handle VPN.. also you need software as well as the router.

I have a Linksys E2000 DD WRT Big on it...
This is what you should be looking for.. I'll post photo.

If you go to this site, it will inform you on a few VPN routers:

Thanks acurasd!!

I was looking for a solution like that, but I havent found.
In order to use a workaround I'm using the PlayonTV that allows me create a mediacenter and distribute it across my media devices, very interesting also.

But I'll buy a router like you indicated, thanks again!

Cheers
