Problems with Windows Live Mail

I downloaded windows live essentials 2012 now I can't open windows live email.I just get a logo for mail asking me if I want to make changes to the system.I have tried and it still will not open i have checked and it is compatible with windows 7.

Somehow it did not install correctly
Uninstall it and make sure you install it from this site
