I have a 3 copy Family Pack license for W7 Home Professional Upgrade. (1 Product Key - 3 installs). All 3 have been installed on 3 of my systems. I now want to convert from x32 to x64 which requires a clean install. The Product Key will show as being fully used on the Microsoft Servers. What method of installation do I use to avoid my Key being denied? The only choice I see is a "Normal" vs. a "Custom" install or possibly not checking the automatic activation box. I have also been told that I can indicate to MS that I have deactivated one of my licenses prior to installing the x64 version. Is that a way to do this?
Incidentally if I do have to contact MS for assistance with this issue, what is the best way" Phone or email? I have not contacted them in years so any shortcut you can suggest will be appreciated.
