Hey guys, hoping someone here can help me Identify the cause behind my issue.

During certain game applications, my pc locks up and becomes unresponsive, most of the time with an arbitrary colour on screen with no text. I've seen lots of different colours, light brown, teal, cyan, pink etc.

Applications in question; Sims 4, immediately crashes my pc with a random colour (usually cyan) 1-5 minutes into gameplay.
GuildWars 2 - 1-20 minutes, same thing.

And today, Blade and Soul, after about 3 or 4 hours of gameplay, pc locks up, had to hold down the power button to restart, logged back into the game and same crash within a few minutes.

This made me think it was a temperature issue (ordered some thermal paste in case that needs replacing).
Only issue is that even though I have speccy/ msi afterburner running (30-35c idle, 50-60 in game (both cpu/gpu)) I can't actually check the temperatures the moment it crashes, so can't confirm if it's a heating issue.

I've attached the zip file from the BSOD help post. Any help/ suggestions appreciated.

Hey, thanks for this, I did exactly as instructed and then proceeded to test it out by playing Blade and Soul as long as I could in my spare time. Was okay the first day for about 2 hours, then today after quite a long play session, screen blacked out/no signal sort of thing (monitor basically in standby mode), could still hear sound etc and the Skype call I was in was still working but screen dead. Had to restart.

Is the cable of the monitor to the case properly connected?

For sure, it's screwed in on both ends, and if it were loose, I still doubt that would be a problem as there isn't any movement at the back of the case. (there is a wall that snugly supports those wires, keeping them firmly in place)

So based on what you've seen, was the driver issue the only software problem you caught? I just have a strong feeling it's hardware over software.
