Solved Random BSOD errors with ntoskrnl.exe and one instance of tcpip.sys

I looked in task manger. There were two empty directories, NHC, and WPD, plus the Windows and Windows Defender. I did not see anything else.

Did you actually look in the entries in the root Task Scheduler Library folder? - this is where most nasties like to reside.

Do NOT delete anything in there without checking the Actions tab first and KNOWING that it's a baddie. if in doubt, post the details in a reply.

I checked the root and did fine a driverbooster entry that I then removed.

OK, some time has passed now, and I've not had any further blue screen crashes. Is there anything more to be done?

That is great news Jim!

The only item I could suggest is to be careful in what you download (d/l) and watch while you're installing if there are any PUP's or PUM's in the extra install pages during the install, and really if you look or ask, Win7 has a lot of tools that can help you figure out a problem you may be having.

It may or may not be helpful if you re-run a BSOD report and post it, but it wouldn't hurt.
