Random windows & menus opening when typing in web text fields

Win 7 Starter:
This is an intermittent problem but happens a few times daily - especially on Twitter.
Happens in various chromium based browsers, Firefox & K-meleon Goanna

Ctrl Alt & Delete temporarily partially fixes it but only for a short time.
Logging off and on fixes it fully, but again only for a time

So far:
I've swapped out the keyboard and driver.
Uninstalled synaptics touchpad software, but same happens with windows default.
Uninstalled a win update that has been related to this issue.
Turned off recommended potential causes in Ease of Access.

And probably some more tweaks I forgot - I'm at a loss here.
I've used Starter on Samsung np n150 notebooks for years without this happening.

I checked - no malware.

I don't know the answer but is this only happening when you're browsing the internet? That's what the title seems to imply.

not exactly sure what you mean.... my guess is that its related to the Autofill option that pops up when you start searching
(smaller address bar appears when you start typing)

Dissable the autofill search option, in browser settings
the above does not completly remove it, so i also go into about:config and amend the following to False

browser urlbar autofill
browser urlbar autofill typed
browser urlbar autocomplet enabled

note some sites like twitter also include the autofill option as part of thier website setup, which the above cannot access
