I think that's because in the recycle bin you selected folders and JPEG files.
Just select all the JPEG files and see if properties displays.

I use Hybrid sleep, rarely re-boot or shutdown.
Hauppauge HD-PVR, Avermedia PCIe TV Tuner, Hauppauge PCI TV Tuner.
Scratch that idea, seems you can't select multiple items in recycle bin and get properties
