Remote Access

When you think of the word, remote access, you would think that it means that you can remotely access a computer and control it, to some degree. I am I right in assuming this? If so, how do you do it, what are the limitations? I am trying to access some stuff on my computer at home that will help my wife take care of some stuff while I am deployed. For instance, some of the sites that I need to guide her around on the internet, I cant do because they are blocked here, could she go to the site and I see and control the process to get her where she needs to be?

My Computer

OS
Window 7 Professional 64 bit
I recommend teamviewer its 100% free for personal use and will let you control the computer like your sat in front of it albeit slighly slower, install on both machines set passwords and away you go
TeamViewer - Free Remote Control, Remote Access & Online Meetings

I recommend you make an account and then when you boot up and log in it will show you if your other machine is online or offline, i use this daily to remote to my offices and perform a few functions and its reliable and works well

Hope this helps
Paul
