Remote Desktop flicker

When remoting to another computer, I get something similar to a flickering.

It's really noticable with the CPU usage gadget. I can actually see the redraw of it.

Also on text lists, it's like the remote system is refreshing the list then slowly redrawing it almost every second.

Any clues?

When connecting remotely, there are advanced options you can do to improve the connection and experience. Try to play around with the connection settings.
