Remove Win10 HD - Install Win 7 HD

I have a Dell that came with Win8.1 installed and I updated to Win10.

I have decided to remove the Win10 HD, put it on the shelf, install a new bare HD and install a legal full retail version of Win7 OS on it. I will occasionally reinstall the Win10 HD to keep it updated, but will use the Win7 for daily use. Possibly sometime in the distant future I will go back to Windows 10 HD for daily use.

Is there anything I need to know except turning off Secure Boot in Bios? The PC was originally Win8.1 so I don't know what other 'features' would need to be changed. Has anyone done this before?

Which exact model ?
Beside secure boot you'll need to peak at the CSM options and make sure it can be switched from UEFI Only.
Otherwise post some images of the bios settings you have.
